MARJORIE HINCH WARMBROD, age 90, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Belvidere, Tenn., departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at the home of her daughter, following an extended illness. Ms. Warmbrod was born in Cowan, Tenn. on November 20, 1926, to the late Virgil Hinch and Betty Davis Hinch. Ms. Warmbrod was employed at the University of the South in Sewanee as a secretary for several years. She then attended Draughon's Business School, MTSU and later received an Associates degree from Motlow State Community College. Ms. Warmbrod was a homemaker most of her life. She attended the First United Church UCC in Belvidere before moving to Florida to live with her daughter in 2006.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Warmbrod was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Buck" Warmbrod, son, Gary Davis Warmbrod, and sister, Bernice Hinch Grant. She is survived by her daughter, Bettye "Gayle" Warmbrod of Jacksonville, Fla., Granddaughter, Jodi Dishman and husband Brent of Edmond, Oklahoma, great-grandsons; Cash Davis Dishman and Rook Keeter Dishman. Sister, Helen Hinch Donan of Louisville, Ky. Many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. family and friends.
Visitation for Ms. Warmbrod will be held from 12:00 noon, Monday, January 16, 2017, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services until Service time at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Joshua S. Potts, officiating. Interment will follow in the Winchester Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Ernest.
